These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ChefPrep website at chefpreptradeco.in and its practice-question service (the "Service"), operated by ChefPrep ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
"Content" means all questions, answers, explanations, text, and materials made available through the Service. "Account" means the account you create to access the Service. "Subscription" means paid access to the full Content for a fixed period.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.
ChefPrep provides interview-style practice questions and answers to help candidates prepare for Australian chef, cook and baker skills assessments. The Content is provided for personal study and revision only. We may add, remove, or update questions and features at any time to improve the Service.
New registered users may access a limited number of free questions (currently 10) at no charge. The free allowance is tied to your Account. We may change the number of free questions offered at any time.
Paid access lasts for the stated period (6 months) from the date your payment is confirmed. Access is not auto-renewing — it simply ends when the period expires, and you may choose to purchase again to continue. We do not store your payment details for automatic renewal.
Because the Service provides immediate access to proprietary digital Content, fees are generally non-refundable once full access has been unlocked, except where a refund is required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error or experienced a technical fault that prevented access, contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will review your case in good faith.
All Content is owned by ChefPrep (or its licensors) and is protected by copyright and other laws. On purchase or registration, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Content solely for your own study. You must not:
Technical protection measures are in place. Circumventing or attempting to circumvent them is a breach of these Terms.
You agree not to: (a) share your Account; (b) use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Content; (c) attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems; (d) interfere with or disrupt the Service; or (e) use the Service for any unlawful purpose. Breach may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.
The Content is practice material only and is provided for general study purposes. While we work to keep it accurate and relevant, we do not warrant that it reflects the current official assessment, and we do not guarantee any particular result or that you will pass any assessment. You remain responsible for your own preparation and for confirming requirements with the relevant official body.
The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, email, and payments (for example Netlify, Supabase, Google and PayPal). Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChefPrep will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or loss of profits, data, or opportunity, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 6 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold ChefPrep harmless from any claims, damages, or costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Content or Service.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, your licence to the Content ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, and Limitation of Liability) will continue to apply.
Our handling of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
